Increasing funding only prolongs a war that Ukraine cannot win and makes escalation more likely. Pressure should be applied on Ukraine to sue for peace and give up their claim on The Crimea and the Donbass

UK involvement in the conflict is (after 4 years) still to be justified. Russia entered Ukraine to protect / liberate ethnic Russian people in certain regions - people that have been subjected to violations for several years. Moreover the eastern expansion of NATO in to former Comecon countries violated previous agreements with NATO. Finally, the rection of NATO is not consistent with treatment of other countries. UK and EU should - contrarily been supporting Russia throughout and exerting pressure on Ukraine to cease its abuse of the regions concerned.

A failure to provide aid to Ukraine in 2014 and Georgia in 2008 mislead Russia into believing they could invade the whole of the country without consequences.
Ukraine is using the mostly Cold War era weapons provided to them piece meal and in not enough quantity extremely effectively, stopping countless Russian offensives and even mounting some successful ones themselves. Ex. Kherson, Kharkiv and the Black Sea

Ukraine provided the 7th largest reinforcements to invade Iraq and are opposed to Palestine's freedom. They've bled countries such as Poland dry and accused them of being aligned with Russia when further resources were refused.
