At least 20 Palestinians have been killed and 150 others wounded after Israeli forces targeted people as they waited for humanitarian relief in Gaza City.
Israel’s military says it is looking into the allegations that its forces opened fire on crowds of Palestinians waiting for aid in northern Gaza City.
More than 170 people were wounded and killed in the attack, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
Israeli troops and tanks pushed into Gaza City shortly after the ground invasion began in October and have battled Palestinian fighters there for more than two months.
The military has claimed it largely defeated Hamas in the north but it still faces deadly attacks. Northern Gaza has been cut off from humanitarian aid, even as tens of thousands of people have remained there.

Organizations such as Hamas are, without doubt, Terrorist Groups that have harmed and killed innocent people. However, it is key to understand why they have gotten to this stage in the first place, with the Israeli Government, an emphasis on its government, causing the suffering of the Palestinian people and now committing atrocities in retaliation. The Government of Israel is a violent regime that has caused violent insurrection from the populace that has led to this conflict.
On both sides, Innocent people are being killed whilst we argue over which violent faction we should be supporting, and the situation will only better once we focus on the innocents caught in the crossfire and to understand how Innocent Civilians can be forced into Violent Terrorists.

Israel is committing genocide and we must withdraw our recognition of and impose sanctions on the Israeli state, and instead recognise Palestine.
