The two-state solution is a proposed diplomatic solution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The proposal envisions an independent State of Palestine that borders Israel. Palestinian leadership has supported the concept since the 1982 Arab Summit in Fez. In 2017 the Hamas (a Palestinian Resistance movement that controls the Gaza strip) accepted the solution without recognizing Israel as a state. The current Israeli leadership has stated that a two-state solution can only exist without Hamas and the current Palestinian leadership. The U.S. would have to take a central role in any talks bet…

I think Palestine should gain the land and power they possessed before the end of WW2. It was a mistake for western powers to get involved to set up a Jewish state in the middle east as it has only fuelled Zionism and Islamophobia

Do whatever it takes to shut Israel down. It is not a conflict between the two, Israel are actively slaughtering children. Hamas has defended itself only twice, and both times the reaction from Israel has been out of control, they have been ordered to stop, and they have ignored, they ignored it and they burned people alive. They burned BABIES Alive.
Israel NEED TO BE STOPPED
@9LLTW742yrs2Y
That would be ideal, but it is unrealistic, just look at Israel's tactics in Gaza and the West bank.
@9L3R5232yrs2Y
This is only workable once Israel is hugely deradicalized as a nation.
@9JLQP292yrs2Y
For a two-state solution to work, the Israeli government would need to be reformed while any current politicians who support the genocide should be punished accordingly.

Yes, and the Old City should be an autonomous region as it holds a high degree of importance to Christians, Jews & Muslims.

Neither Palestine or Israel have a right to that land. It should be controlled by a universal secular government
@9Q6VJ4H2yrs2Y
Yes, but a condition on the recognition of Palestine should require Hamas to relinquish control of Gaza and allow free and fair elections
@9QQ4MKL2yrs2Y
The land which was stolen from Palestinians, should be returned to them. Modern day colonisation and genocide. Have we learnt nothing from history? Free Palestine 🇵🇸
@9QLRN2L2yrs2Y
In theory, but only insofar as both sides of the conflict agree and there are practical plans in place for the deradicalisation of nations and for the infrastructural healing of the west bank and gaza
@9LF7TNQ2yrs2Y
Yes, along 1967 boundary lines and a permanent ceasefire
@9L6KF8Q2yrs2Y
No jews are are the indigenous people of the land "Palestinians" are the defendants of Arab colonisers
@9P6RQYX2yrs2Y
No, if Israel enveloped Gaza and the Jordane West Bank, everyone currently living in those places would benefit from living in an inclusive, progressive democracy. They are worse off now.
@9KM98C52yrs2Y
Yes, but only on the condition Hamas are removed from power
@9KKLVVX2yrs2Y
Yes, there should be two-state solution along 1967 lines with a permanent ceasefire
