The two-state solution is a proposed diplomatic solution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The proposal envisions an independent State of Palestine that borders Israel. Palestinian leadership has supported the concept since the 1982 Arab Summit in Fez. In 2017 the Hamas (a Palestinian Resistance movement that controls the Gaza strip) accepted the solution without recognizing Israel as a state. The current Israeli leadership has stated that a two-state solution can only exist without Hamas and the current Palestinian leadership. The U.S. would have to take a central role in any talks bet…

Not until the Palestinian Arab people totally and unconditionally renounce their genocidal intent towards the people and State of Israel, accept the State of Israel's right to exist permanently as a sovereign Jewish state, and cease all violent measures against the Israeli populace.

#1 Engaged Two State Solution for Israel and Palestine
Whilst you may be hurt by the atrocities that happened on October 7th (I don't condone Hamas in any way whatsoever), in what way did that exhibit "genocidal intent"? If you're going to mention thoughts of genocide, I think it's also important to talk about the active genocide happening in Gaza. Remember, Palestine does NOT have a military, nor do they have any form of protection against the IDF.
@9QKWYWC2yrs2Y
Yes, most world nations such as the UK, Russia, China, Germany etc support this decision only the Israeli government and few others want only Israel to be in control.
@9QH8XXR2yrs2Y
Recognise the genocide and ethic cleansing of Palestinians and hold Israel accountable for its occupation.
@9Q7GVG82yrs2Y
No one state with equal rights for all citizens Palestinian and Israeli, Jewish, Muslim and Christian
@9QKM8DH2yrs2Y
One democratic state with one person one vote the two state solution is a smoke screen and a delaying tactic and with illegal settlements is almost impossible to implement
@9JXLSQC 2yrs2Y
No, Palestine should be handed back in full to the people of Palestine and protected from any illegal occupation
@BB3ZV3Y2mos2MO
No, I think both countries should be wiped off the face of the earth. Replace them with a national park.
@B9MSGXV3mos3MO
the general idea of a 2 state solution wouldn't work with these two opposing ideals but I have no other alternatives for piece
I support the solution of Trump just building it brand new from the ground up and for there to be peace.
@B6KKTZT8mos8MO
Palestine State to be recognised and provided for! Israel to give up a ceade land for the Palestinian new state
@B2LKKTX1yr1Y
Tougher than that. Israel should certainly not hold such a dominant position as it does hold within the area of the Levant and the Middle East.
@B5PXVGG11mos11MO
No, I support a one-state binational solution with no definitive advantage given to either Israelis or Palestinians
@9ZSYF9M1yr1Y
All land in Israel should be given back to Palestinians and all Israelis should either be sent back to their home country (often western ones) or provided accommodation in friendly countries.
@9XFDYGT1yr1Y
The region should be placed under a temporary UN mandate to resolve the conflict and restore stability, until which a referendum on the status of Israel and Palestine should be opened to the local population.
@9R3D2LPConservative2yrs2Y
Nope make isreal an international zone controlled and looked after by the respective religious groups with their own law enforcement. The lands owned by Palestine in the two state solution should be given to their neighbouring nation states and isreal can have whats left over.
@9PRD6ZC2yrs2Y
This is so complex. People need to listen with humility, try to understand better...find a way people can live together in harmony...and not take land off people...this is an invasion. Haifa seems to be a peaceful place to live... why cant the rest of Israel be like this?
@9PG5NVW2yrs2Y
Two fanatical religious groups will never reconcile, they are not mentally part of reality. Hopefully they won't be in power forever and the survivors can make something of their lives.
@9M2M3JZLiberal Democrat2yrs2Y
No, there should be one Palestinian state. Israel in an illegal settler colonial state committing genocide against the Palestinians
@9LCBJZ52yrs2Y
Yes, it’s the only way that both sides can have clear boundaries and be able to legitimately defend themselves if those boundaries are crossed.
@9L2BMDD2yrs2Y
I support a singular secular Palestinian state with protections for all religions, free of apartheid. Palestine should be free, from the river to the sea.
@9KXL8WT 2yrs2Y
No, as the reality on the ground supports a single-state solution, but I would not oppose a sustainable and equitable two-state solution.
@9PPCR6C2yrs2Y
Yes, only if the state agrees to the existence of Israel and can be governed correctly to ensure the safety of Israeli citizens.
@9LHK95X2yrs2Y
Yes under the condition Hamas is removed and Iran stops meddling in politics there.
Yes but Palestinians should agree to Israel being allowed to live in peace too. Stop their genocidal threats to Israel.
@9NX8XTW2yrs2Y
the issues surrounding the conflict in Israel and Palestine is very complex and cannot be answered with just one simple solution.
It was the original solution and has been offered several times but it needs to supported internationally and by enough local Arab states .Even then it going to be hard curtailing action of hardliners on both sides.
@B2WJQLL1yr1Y
Yes, but with concrete security agreements for Israel and with agreements that British businesses take a leading role with the reconstruction of Gaza and the West Bank. Also no resettlement of Palestinians but they need to help us reconstruct.
@BCMSRST2wks2W
This is too complicated and its not up to the British people to decide, irrelevant
