In 2022, BP had a 72% increase in profit, with the owner stating that he had ''more money than he knew what to do with'' if this is how the owners of corporate companies are living whilst some of our children's families are unable to afford to cook them a meal, there is clearly something wrong and we are not doing enough to protect our young people and vulnerable adults. Sainsburys have made a 1.6% increase on their predicted profit during 2023, if they had been asked to give this to the public sector, our countries most vulnerable would be more supported. Corporate Tax would be an easy way of supporting the country into a better future, and with corporate companies and supermarkets still making record breaking profits, this can be achieved.
