Madeleine McCann, a young bright toddler with a future filled with so much she could have become yet today she has siblings and parents who still suffer the trauma of her disappearance. It's not just Maddie, children vanish annually without a trace hundreds of them probably due to traffickers. We've got killers like the beheading of French teachers by Islamic fundamentalists and school shootings across America. Do these people deserve to live who carry out those crimes? Should they live? In a world without laws and police, if you were a victim or a victims family, would you be satisfied with anything less than death where the evidence was solid? I know I wouldn't be.
