Of course Badenoch would back Rowling—both of them are pushing harmful rhetoric that erases the lived experiences of trans people under the guise of "protecting women." It’s infuriating how they’re framing basic human rights as some kind of attack on women's safety when we should be fighting the patriarchy, not each other.

Good on Kemi for recognizing someone like JK Rowling who’s brave enough to stand up for common sense on gender issues. It's about time we start valuing people who aren’t afraid to speak the truth, even when it’s unpopular.
