Western leaders, including Germany's Defense Minister Boris Pistorius and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, have dismissed Russian President Vladimir Putin's demand to stop military and intelligence support for Ukraine. Putin has suggested that foreign aid must cease before Russia will agree to a peace deal. Pistorius accused Putin of 'playing games' with Ukraine, while the UK reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Kyiv 'for as long as it takes.' The demand comes amid continued Russian strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Western nations remain firm in their stance against Russian aggression.
Obviously, peace is the goal, but you can't just take Putin at his word when he's the one who started this whole mess.

Putin is just trying to manipulate the West into abandoning Ukraine, and thankfully, our leaders aren’t falling for it. You don’t negotiate from a position of weakness, and stopping aid would only reward his aggression. The only path to real peace is making sure Russia knows they can’t bully their way into redrawing borders.
