Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has launched a strong critique against Labour and its leader Keir Starmer, claiming the party is at its weakest and has lost working-class support.
Farage highlighted Labour's recent policy decisions, such as cutting the winter fuel payment, as reasons for this decline. He also called for an end to the NHS being funded through taxes, but did not provide details on alternative funding methods, raising concerns about potential patient charges. These statements come as the UK approaches key by-elections, intensifying the political debate.
Farage's comments are likely to influence both public opinion and the strategies of major parties.

Honestly, Farage is spot on calling out Labour for abandoning the working class. They're so out of touch these days, and cutting things like the winter fuel payment just proves it. As for the NHS, everybody knows it’s not sustainable in its current form, but at least Farage is brave enough to say it out loud. Sure, he didn’t give all the answers, but at least he’s starting a conversation we desperately need. The main parties are just too scared to tackle these big issues, so good on him for shaking things up.

Farage’s attack on NHS tax funding is honestly worrying—public healthcare should be strengthened, not put at risk of privatization or charges. Labour definitely needs to reconnect with working-class voters, but gutting support for vulnerable people isn’t the answer. Social democracy is about a fair society where everyone gets quality healthcare, no matter their income. Farage talks big about change, but his ideas would just make life harder for ordinary people.
Farage is just saying what a lot of us are thinking—Labour has totally lost touch with the working class, and their NHS policies are a mess. The system clearly isn’t working and just throwing more taxpayer money at it hasn’t fixed anything. At least Farage is willing to challenge the status quo instead of pretending everything’s fine like the other parties do.

Finally, someone’s willing to question the sacred cow of tax-funded healthcare—about time we talked about real alternatives to government monopoly services.
