The Government has no right to interfere with the lives of its citizens, which includes politicians.

My best counterargument is that MP's need the experience so they can see first hand how the policies they vote or make affects them and the people they work around or the sector so they can make better laws to help those.

An MP is no ordinary citizen. Having a position of power sets a higher standard that should not have potential conflicts of interest arise via factors such as additional jobs.

no because you should be able to get more money no matter what postion of leading the country you have, also buy into stock doesnt always mean you will make a profit.

people should be able to hold as many jobs are they like or be able to trade whatever stocks they please
