Do you support the use of nuclear energy?
No, we should invest in cleaner alternatives such as wind, hydroelectric, thorium, and geothermal
Nuclear is clean, the only counter argument to Nuclear Energy is Chernobyl, whose excessive errors where a catastrophic phenomenon, so much when wrong and so much could have been prevented had it not been for Soviet Pride, incompetence and ignorance. Thorium is a radioactive material, as Thorium is one of the half-lives of the Uranium the world has come to be familiar with, all it is, is taking rods of radioactive material and dipping them in water to produce steam, which in turn, turns steam turbines that power the grid. Steam Power using Nuclear Material as the catalyst, it can last thousands of years and any waste is minimal, and said waste can be recycled into new rods, although depleted. Wind on the other hand is susceptible to the weather, excessive winds have the turbines turned off, that's the equivalent of shutting a coal plant down due to too much coal, it's inane, vast swathes of land are needed to solar to be effective and Geothermal requires an active geological land to work properly and is quite costly, Hydroelectric can work, but also requires a lot of land, which is harder for countries with limited space. Nuclear can be as large as coal plants, but have consistently been reducing space required over the last few decades.
