I end up with 51% agreement with this somehow. Let me make the point quite clear. I am an atheist, I think that ALL religions are based upon unscientific, outdated and superstitious nonsense (I am married to a wonderful lady who is a committed Buddhist and we agree to differ upon beliefs). Ancient myths should have no place in deciding the lifestyle of the civil population anywhere in the current age. There is and should be absolutely no place for religion in any political discussion. In a democracy all people should be allowed to follow their beliefs (that even includes pseudo beliefs like astrology), but religion should be a purely private and personal matter and should in no way impact or be imposed upon anyone else!
