The British National Party is a far-right, fascist political party in the United Kingdom. It is headquartered in Wigton, Cumbria, and its current leader is Adam Walker. A minor party, it has no elected representatives at any level of UK government.

What role do you think the media plays in shaping public perception of minor political parties?
@9RLRZ688mos8MO
The largest role in demonising many and making them remain small, but the system also hugely restricts them.
@9RKQQV28mos8MO
While dramatized, the cause of effect to create this movement proved minority groups have advantage compared normal UK citizens.
@9RL57QP8mos8MO
The media is only after engagements for profit, trust is at an all time low and should be made completely neutral to gain respect back, sensationalising minor incidents and fear mongering based on personal stances should not be encouraged.
@ISIDEWITH8mos8MO
Have you ever encountered a political ideology that challenged your personal values? How did you respond?
@9SY94Q37mos7MO
I have, i usually take some time to look into the perspective and challenge my views
@9SXQQ2Y7mos7MO
Until the August riots I thought the BNP and associated Fascist movements (like the EDL) were very minor movements that couldn't do anything. Then they started burning cars, smashing in mosques and terrorising minority groups. I responded by protesting against them.
@ISIDEWITH8mos8MO
Can a political party's historical context justify its current stance and policies? Why or why not?
@9RZKBY78mos8MO
It depends on if the party's policies/culture has changed or not.
