Where AI does need regulation, I do not believe the government should regulate AI on it’s own for the purpose of censorship. An EU or UN Mandate for global co-operation on AI would suffice.

The government should regulate artificial intelligence to ban LLMs, and other forms of "AI" should be treated with scientific scrutiny, rather than being in the hands of our current politicians.

No! They can't be trusted to regulate AI without enforcing biased outlooks, designed to push their political agenda, especially when it comes to censorship and the sharing of incriminating details.

The Government should not be regulating creative industries like AI, but if used in the wrong manner they should have a department to investigate miss use of creative rights.
