No, the test should only be for the English language. All immigrants should be able to speak a basic level of English to ensure they can survive.

Simple answer... YES.
@9PMV4CG 9mos9MO
Yes, but the test should be about understanding cultural norms and integrating, not a prove how British you are test.
No, but they should demonstrate a basic ability to communicate in English to show they'd sufficiently be able to traverse life in the UK to a degree.
@9JXKVVH1yr1Y
Yes, but the questions should be entirely relevant to life within the UK as opposed to arbitrary nonsense most UK citizens would struggle to answer.

Yes, but only if the questions are relevant in modern Britain
@8QM43PG4yrs4Y

No, they should be supported in integrating instead
No, this is discrimination
@97WD8832yrs2Y
No, but we should have very robust integration support. This also includes anti-racist/acceptance programs for citizens.
@97VYXZ7Liberal Democrat2yrs2Y

@97SGDDV2yrs2Y
There should be programmes in place to help them.
@96SQ3BD2yrs2Y
Yes, if they are intending to stay and reside permanently.
@96R8FM92yrs2Y
They should speak the language support themselves and have a job
@92QQHYJ3yrs3Y
Language courses should be offered/ recommended to give people the best chance of settling in and finding employment, but these should not be mandatory
@94927K63yrs3Y
Yes, but I don’t think the current test is fit for purpose
