Since 2002 People seeking to apply for citizenship within the UK must pass the Life in the United Kingdom test. The test contains 24 questions and covers topics including British values, history, traditions and everyday life. To pass each candidate must receive answer 18 of the 24 questions correctly. 70% of candidates currently pass the test.

Yes, but only that they know our customes, laws and regulations, and sign a decloration that they will adhere to them. I think a lie detector should be used during the test. That way, if they choose to break anything, they can be held accountable as they have read, understood and sighed the declaration to abide by our countries ways, and deception can be discovered during the test.

Yes, but only to confirm that they accept all fair and respectful views and customs represented in the UK as we are proudly diverse. Any risk of bringing over harmful practices such as FGM and amongst middle eastern families should be mitigated
