Only simple language and government testing should be performed. The British public couldn’t tell you about our history.
Yes but the questions need to be relevant to day to day life, laws and situations in the UK. Learning about 1066 will not help that secure a job or deal with life in the UK on a day to day basis.
No, but they should demonstrate a basic ability to communicate in English to show they'd sufficiently be able to traverse life in the UK to a degree.
Yes, and more than just a basic level of understanding, and also resources should be made available to citizens to ensure that they could also pass one.

Yes, particularly who won WW2. If they answer, UK or US they should be immediately removed to Rwanda as it is clearly USSR
No, but a be given an induction to provide a basic understanding of our country’s language, history, and government
Yes, but it should cover things that will actually impact their lives in current Britain. I recently did this test and it was asking me questions about British history. While that is of course imporatn, I don't see how that knowledge is essentail to gain entry, live in or be a productive citizen in Britain
We should not allow immigrants into the country, but for refugees, Yes, but it should only cover very basic and simple topics
Language and government are important, but knowing a countries' history other than its laws are irrelevant.
Yes, but it should focus on the bare essentials, prioritising knowledge that will be most necessary for residency, such as government, law, and language.
Yes, and so should all citizens; there should be a basic and advanced level of citizenship tests; they should also be a mandatory part of the school curriculum in the UK.
Yes, if they’re choosing to come here, but not in the case of refugees when they’ve had to flee without planning
yes, but the current citizenship test is not an example of what that should look like as most citizens couldn't pass the current test. the test should only cover the essentials
Yes, but it should be more focused on education and helping the immigrant to integrate themselves better into the country
No. Most citizens would not pass one. Should be changed to rules, basic laws and understanding of personal responsibility
Most citizens would not pass one. Should be changed to rules, basic laws and understanding of personal responsibility
Just basic language since most citizens would not pass the history and government phase

Unless this applies to Welsh/Wales, no.
Yes, but they shouldn’t be not allowed in if not passed
The test should only be on the language, laws and regulations.
Only if applying for citizenship via naturalisation.
A citizenship test is a good idea but the test should not be based on useless knowledge like asking "when and where was golf invented"
No, but I do think optional lessons in cultural norms should be offered to immigrants to lessen their culture shock

Yes, and encourage all UK citizens to work towards sitting the test, with a wide knowledge of all 4 nations in the UK in order to understand the cultural differences.
Yes, though it should be information that U.K. citizens are knowledgeable about.
Yes to aid in integration
Some, but not all. The citizenship test is important but shouldn’t be forced upon migrants until they are able to take the test.
Yes, but this should also involve lessons that help teach these topics.
How would they know anything about our language, history or government if they come from a different nation? They it might not hurt to know about our ideology and what we stand for. (Such as Rule of Law and Power to the People)
No, don't make it a requirement but rather something that is highly recommended to allow people to integrate into society.
They should be encouraged to learn the language so they don’t segregate themselves from society
A citizenship test in which is fair, as citizenry to a locality and understanding of a culture occurs over a period of time rather than in a singular period of study. Plausibly, one could implement a basic citizenship test after 2-6 months of arrival (for refugees and those fleeing crisis), and at a later date. Those immigrating to the UK who are not fleeing crisis, but rather out of personal opportunity, should take the more detailed, culturally nuanced test (that can also be passed by the local citizens) during the first months of arrival (or pre-entry). Education for all groups should be accessible as to aid in cross-cultural interactions, global and local understandings and in the aid in the lessening of ignorance.
