Yes, but only once such a test had been vigorously developed by testing it on natural-born citizens first to establish a baseline for what knowledge is actually necessary for every day life.

We need to remove the link between immigration and citizenship. The idea of taking a test creates the concept that there is a link.

It depends if they are asylum seekers or not, if they are skilled and coming here to work then yes, but if seeking emergency asylum. No.

Stupid question as this is already a requirement of VISA and Indefinate leave to remain oh and fix the spelling please

Yes, but the questions should be entirely relevant to life within the UK as opposed to arbitrary nonsense most UK citizens would struggle to answer.

We should not allow immigrants into the country, but for refugees, Yes, but it should only cover very basic and simple topics

No, a different test should of Britishness should be sought out for migrants who have been here a long while and wish to become citizens.

Yes, but only that they know our customes, laws and regulations, and sign a decloration that they will adhere to them. I think a lie detector should be used during the test. That way, if they choose to break anything, they can be held accountable as they have read, understood and sighed the declaration to abide by our countries ways, and deception can be discovered during the test.

Yes, on basic topics but gradually increase the difficulty, and should test mathematical, analytical, worldly knowledge, ethics and understanding. It must be fair though, as most citizens wouldn't be able to pass, so make it so a British citizen would be able to answer well and pass.

Only in as much as it could lead to aiding integration and a ceremony that would signify acceptance into the national community

 @9LY5FV6Greenanswered…11mos11MO

Yes it should be fairly simple but should put great emphasis on the laws and that they will be deported if they do not abide by this.

Language is most important and so is pronunciation. If being employed in this country people should be able to make themselves understood.

Yes but forgo the history, most citizens couldn’t pass it and it is ultimately (to a degree) unimportant.
