Yes, but limit the amount while investing and incentivising the development of local skilled workers.

Visas for skilled workers are incredibly important, that being said, they should not be relied on and incentives should be provided for citizens

Government should upskill local workforce to take on all the roles required, however, temporary contracts can be let to foreign high-skilled immigrants on visas with a time limit to ensure that there is continuity of service until such time as that role can be filled by a locally qualified person. This should be based on sector demand and not a blanket approach - possible application and regulatory procedures to be carried out to ensure that this is not taken advantage of.

I think allowing people to seek a better life here with their skills are improtant but I think that we should also focus on education those in the country as well
we should not discriminate which immigrants are welcomed, based on their skill level. All are in need of refuge

increase, and pay in line with UK nationals to avoid companies taking advantage of them

Increase, but offer proper protection for the immigrant workers and create incentives for citizens to work those jobs
I would allow more people to come regardless of skills

Depending on the necessities and needs for this role

Increase so long as they are paid a wage befitting their skill and not one which makes them cheap labour.
Visas shouldn't be temporary, everyone has a right to work anywhere

Increase, but also focus more resources on improving training and education for citizens

Look at the pool of candidates from the UK first. If migrants are still higher qualified then go for it
@98BD8FW2yrs2Y
Increase the number of visas for workers in areas where there are a shortage of workers

If there are gaps in the market to fill and we don't have the people then get them in but out those in the country first!
