Not all Muslims are the same. Every immigrant should be treated equally and fairly and no one should be discriminated because of their religion or belief

 @9FHXYPQdisagreed…7mos7MO

We can’t ban a religion itself based on the actions of a few, if that was the case, many more religions would have to be banned by the crimes committed by people following them.

 @9FGWN5QGreendisagreed…7mos7MO

Immigrants should not be identified by their religion first of all as that has nothing to do with where they stand in society in England. If they want to rule out terrorists then they should do that to every citizen living in the UK not just Muslim immigrants .

 @9FQSZRMdisagreed…7mos7MO

Being Muslim does not mean you are a terrorist and many Muslim people can add high value to society and the economy

 @9FVB9VCLabourdisagreed…7mos7MO

This is a complete an obvious statement of discrimination on a certain group of people. Muslims have been portrayed negatively on the media and to be given a screening process is really unjust. There are many other groups of people who commit these acts and are certainly not screened.

 @9FFWJBSdisagreed…7mos7MO

Imagine you were in there position, being stripped of simple human decency because of a few people, there are horrible war criminals who are not Muslim and also commit atrocities. There religious views do not make them dangerous.

 @9FBC4SZLabourdisagreed…7mos7MO

It's blatant discrimination, and statistically unproven as well. The trump ban in america showed how that would go.

 @9FQFLPQdisagreed…7mos7MO

Muslim immigrants are no different from other high skilled immigrants and should no receive any differential treatment in that basis

 @9FGVQMCdisagreed…7mos7MO

Anyone can be a terrorist it’s discriminatory to ban a whole group of religious people for the actions of a few

 @9FGLJW6Labourdisagreed…7mos7MO

People should not be singled out purely based on their choice of faith. One rule should apply to all.

 @9F8K85Gdisagreed…7mos7MO

Not everyone should be judged on what some people have done. No one should be banned from a country just because of the religion they follow. Everyone should have equal access to work, and asylum in the United Kingdom.

 @9F8J97Xdisagreed…7mos7MO

banning immigration will hinder the economy and cause unnecessary deaths as people may try to enter the country through more unsafe methods

 @9FGVQKLdisagreed…7mos7MO

No, they deserve a place to live. If something ever happened in the UK we would expect to be able to take refuge somewhere.

 @9FCK2XBdisagreed…7mos7MO

The UK needs immigrants regardless of their faith to provide vital skills that will benefit the British people on multiple levels.

 @9G5D5QVLiberal Democratdisagreed…6mos6MO

Not all muslims are terrorists and not all caucasians are good citizens. The KKK is still alive and well, where is your screening process for white Americans entering the UK?

 @9G53RVFdisagreed…6mos6MO

Not all Muslims are the same. Every immigrant should be treated equally and fairly and no one should be discriminated because of their religion or belief.

 @9FNQQGBdisagreed…7mos7MO

To ban all immigrants would be wrong.
To ban one specific demographic would be wrong.

We should not ban all immigration until the government decides to get off their arse and do something.

It’s not the nationality it’s the person and not every person is the same. You can’t ban one group to keep another small minority happy.

It’s about working together and understanding each other more.. rather than the insulting remarks made from citizens themselves. Because I can guarantee if any of you were in their position you would want to come to the uk or leave your country too. Don’t be so naive into thinking you are better.. because you are not.

Everyone is important no matter where they come from. No one should be banned or discriminated against just from where they were born.

 @9FK7TQKagreed…7mos7MO

Uk towns and cities are being changed to accommodate non British people. There is a general lack of respect towards existing residents. Most do not speak English well and most do not follow and seem to show unwillingness learn the values traditional British people have. This is all coming at a great cost both culturally and financially. Yes

 @9FHSGGVdisagreed…7mos7MO

Races should not be generalised and marginalised based on the actions of an extremist minority, especially when Islam makes up such a high percentage of global religion

 @9FH77VWdisagreed…7mos7MO

It wouldnt be morally right for an Islamic state to outright band christians until better screening is put in place

 @9F9K38Pdisagreed…7mos7MO

this is discrimination and a violation of human rights. Furthermore, immigrants are a huge part of our countries work force and contribute to our economy greatly.

 @9F7NLZ9disagreed…7mos7MO

It is a racist reason reject the immigration of middle eastern people and allows the risk of other people to commit terrorizing acts

 @9F7NLF4Greendisagreed…7mos7MO

It's a racist excuse that leads to the abuse of human rights based on no evidence and an incorrect understanding of a faith.

 @9F76754Labourdisagreed…7mos7MO

The economy relies heavily on immigrant workers - such a policy, as well as being discriminatory, would be detrimental to the economy.

 @9F734QCdisagreed…7mos7MO

As since 2019, the majority of arrests for terrorism inside the UK have been white people, so if muslims must be researched before entering, so should every white person.

 @9F6YVSJConservativefrom Arkansas disagreed…7mos7MO

This is outright discrimination of people who identify with a certain religion and a violation of civil rights and liberties.

 @9F5V692disagreed…7mos7MO

Some muslim immigrants maybe skilled workers who have alot of good skills needed in our econnomy and work force. Having a screening process on muslim immigrants seems racist also, singling out one group for a handful of terrorist attacks is ridiculous. However it maybe understandable if they come from war torn nations like syria where the chances are alot higher.

 @9FCPBSSdisagreed…7mos7MO

Should we ban all Christian’s entering the country until the government improves its screening process?

 @9FCNFNHdisagreed…7mos7MO

It is incredibly racist to assume that all Muslim immigrants are terrorists. In reality, they are likely seeking asylum from a “high-risk” country and the moral and right thing to do is to welcome them. The world has become so inhumane that I am disgusted to be a part of society.

 @9FCKYY7disagreed…7mos7MO

The idea that any given Muslim is more likely to be a terrorist than any given Christian, *** or Hindu is ridiculous, and non-Muslims are more likely to be terrorists than Muslims in recent years

 @9FCJX8YConservativefrom Illinois disagreed…7mos7MO

If we ban immigration completely then skills in certain job sector will dramatically decrease such as construction. Furthermore, this is not right and we can’t assume all Muslims are terrorists and ban them all.

 @9FC8K5Sdisagreed…7mos7MO

I think if your going to do screening process on some immigrants then you should do it on all as it’s treating people differently I also think they should be let in the country first and be placed in a special unit to do the screening and then they should be let out

 @9FC6NWLdisagreed…7mos7MO

This would be fuelling the anti-Muslim sentiment which exists among many Western countries and this would therefore result in higher occurrences of hate crimes and related events. The screening process on suspected terrorists can always be improved, however this must be done based on specific groups or those with potential affiliations with those groups, as potential terrorism can occur across every single one of the main world religions.

 @9FC55QZdisagreed…7mos7MO

One cannot simply ban a massive group of people, many of which are vulnerable refugees, because a miniscule percentage of that group can pose a threat to national security.

 @9FBZ63TLabourdisagreed…7mos7MO

Your position is prejudice based on limited examples of terrorism and does not reflect the majority of Muslim immigrants.

 @9FBX8HVdisagreed…7mos7MO

immigrants improve the economy, benefit local communities and all people deserve the right to choose where they live and not have that dictated by passports

 @9FBBQJMGreendisagreed…7mos7MO

Look at your own country first. Terrorist are more often citizens of the very kind they commit acts o

 @9FBBCJBLabourdisagreed…7mos7MO

People who commit terrorist acts may be claiming that they are muslim but their views do not line up with Islamic values, therefore Muslim Immigrants should not be discriminated against.

 @9F9PCSFdisagreed…7mos7MO

Not all Muslim immigrants are extreme, and stopping them coming in would put them at an unfair disadvantage.

 @9F9NWFSdisagreed…7mos7MO

I don’t think it should happen because people should have a right to live here if they choose to do so.

 @9F9F9Y8disagreed…7mos7MO

Why specifically muslim immigrants, there has been no violent terrorist attack from muslim immigrants for the past 5 years, actually, the last major terrorist attack was firebombing a migration centre.

 @9F94N4Cdisagreed…7mos7MO

It's xenophobic bigotry to single out one huge religious group that makes up a significant portion of our nation. The reason the government has focused on this is as a Scape goat to invade nations for oil and to stir division between the working classes so they focus their arguments on eachother and not on the misgivings of the rich and powerful in charge. Muslims are used as the ball in a game of subversion, and it only serves to divide our multi-ethnic and multicultural nation.

 @9F8RKJNdisagreed…7mos7MO

You should not select a specific religion and only assume that religion is committing offences, it is morally wrong.

 @9F8MNM2disagreed…7mos7MO

It is racist to ban someone from emigrating to the UK based on their religion. Islam is a religion based on peace.

 @9F8K528disagreed…7mos7MO

The economy relies heavily on immigrant workers - such a policy, as well as being discriminatory, would be detrimental to the economy.

 @9F857WPdisagreed…7mos7MO

That media reports things very differently depending on religion and race. There are in fact just as many white British terrorists as there are Muslim ones, they are instead murderers though. When was the last time you heard of a non white murderer? If they are black they are a gangster. If they are Muslim they are a terrorist. If they are white they are a murderer or mentally ill according to the media.

 @9F6WCCWLabourdisagreed…7mos7MO

It is arbitrarily discriminatory against Muslims, and immigration is vital to the country's economy.

 @9F6T6N2disagreed…7mos7MO

This is a blanket ban based on guilt-by-association against individuals with no evidence of their actual wrongdoing
