Not all Muslims are the same. Every immigrant should be treated equally and fairly and no one should be discriminated because of their religion or belief

 @9FHXYPQdisagreed…2yrs2Y

We can’t ban a religion itself based on the actions of a few, if that was the case, many more religions would have to be banned by the crimes committed by people following them.

 @9FGWN5QGreendisagreed…2yrs2Y

Immigrants should not be identified by their religion first of all as that has nothing to do with where they stand in society in England. If they want to rule out terrorists then they should do that to every citizen living in the UK not just Muslim immigrants .

 @9FQSZRMdisagreed…2yrs2Y

Being Muslim does not mean you are a terrorist and many Muslim people can add high value to society and the economy

 @9FVB9VCLabourdisagreed…2yrs2Y

This is a complete an obvious statement of discrimination on a certain group of people. Muslims have been portrayed negatively on the media and to be given a screening process is really unjust. There are many other groups of people who commit these acts and are certainly not screened.

 @9FFWJBSdisagreed…2yrs2Y

Imagine you were in there position, being stripped of simple human decency because of a few people, there are horrible war criminals who are not Muslim and also commit atrocities. There religious views do not make them dangerous.

 @9FQFLPQdisagreed…2yrs2Y

Muslim immigrants are no different from other high skilled immigrants and should no receive any differential treatment in that basis

 @9FGVQMCdisagreed…2yrs2Y

Anyone can be a terrorist it’s discriminatory to ban a whole group of religious people for the actions of a few

 @9FGLJW6Labourdisagreed…2yrs2Y

People should not be singled out purely based on their choice of faith. One rule should apply to all.

 @9FD2V33disagreed…2yrs2Y

 @9FGVQKLdisagreed…2yrs2Y

No, they deserve a place to live. If something ever happened in the UK we would expect to be able to take refuge somewhere.

 @9FBC4SZLabourdisagreed…2yrs2Y

It's blatant discrimination, and statistically unproven as well. The trump ban in america showed how that would go.

 @9F8K85Gdisagreed…2yrs2Y

Not everyone should be judged on what some people have done. No one should be banned from a country just because of the religion they follow. Everyone should have equal access to work, and asylum in the United Kingdom.

 @9F8J97Xdisagreed…2yrs2Y

banning immigration will hinder the economy and cause unnecessary deaths as people may try to enter the country through more unsafe methods

 @9FCK2XBdisagreed…2yrs2Y

The UK needs immigrants regardless of their faith to provide vital skills that will benefit the British people on multiple levels.

 @9F734QCdisagreed…2yrs2Y

As since 2019, the majority of arrests for terrorism inside the UK have been white people, so if muslims must be researched before entering, so should every white person.

 @9F6PPXRLabour disagreed…2yrs2Y

White nationalism arguably holds a greater threat with regards especially to domestic terrorism than muslim immigration so focus and funding should be directed towards the real problems rather than right-wing anti-immigration agendas

 @9FNQQGBdisagreed…2yrs2Y

To ban all immigrants would be wrong.
To ban one specific demographic would be wrong.

We should not ban all immigration until the government decides to get off their arse and do something.

It’s not the nationality it’s the person and not every person is the same. You can’t ban one group to keep another small minority happy.

It’s about working together and understanding each other more.. rather than the insulting remarks made from citizens themselves. Because I can guarantee if any of you were in their position you would want to come to the uk or leave your country too. Don’t be so naive into thinking you are better.. because you are not.

Everyone is important no matter where they come from. No one should be banned or discriminated against just from where they were born.

 @9FK7TQKagreed…2yrs2Y

Uk towns and cities are being changed to accommodate non British people. There is a general lack of respect towards existing residents. Most do not speak English well and most do not follow and seem to show unwillingness learn the values traditional British people have. This is all coming at a great cost both culturally and financially. Yes

 @9FHSGGVdisagreed…2yrs2Y

Races should not be generalised and marginalised based on the actions of an extremist minority, especially when Islam makes up such a high percentage of global religion

 @9FH77VWdisagreed…2yrs2Y

It wouldnt be morally right for an Islamic state to outright band christians until better screening is put in place

 @9F94N4Cdisagreed…2yrs2Y

It's xenophobic bigotry to single out one huge religious group that makes up a significant portion of our nation. The reason the government has focused on this is as a Scape goat to invade nations for oil and to stir division between the working classes so they focus their arguments on eachother and not on the misgivings of the rich and powerful in charge. Muslims are used as the ball in a game of subversion, and it only serves to divide our multi-ethnic and multicultural nation.

 @9F8RKJNdisagreed…2yrs2Y

You should not select a specific religion and only assume that religion is committing offences, it is morally wrong.

 @9F8MNM2disagreed…2yrs2Y

It is racist to ban someone from emigrating to the UK based on their religion. Islam is a religion based on peace.

 @9F8K528disagreed…2yrs2Y

The economy relies heavily on immigrant workers - such a policy, as well as being discriminatory, would be detrimental to the economy.

 @9F857WPdisagreed…2yrs2Y

That media reports things very differently depending on religion and race. There are in fact just as many white British terrorists as there are Muslim ones, they are instead murderers though. When was the last time you heard of a non white murderer? If they are black they are a gangster. If they are Muslim they are a terrorist. If they are white they are a murderer or mentally ill according to the media.

 @9F7NLZ9disagreed…2yrs2Y

It is a racist reason reject the immigration of middle eastern people and allows the risk of other people to commit terrorizing acts

 @9F7NLF4Greendisagreed…2yrs2Y

It's a racist excuse that leads to the abuse of human rights based on no evidence and an incorrect understanding of a faith.

 @9F76754Labourdisagreed…2yrs2Y

 @9F6YVSJConservativefrom Arkansas  disagreed…2yrs2Y

This is outright discrimination of people who identify with a certain religion and a violation of civil rights and liberties.

 @9F6WCCWLabourdisagreed…2yrs2Y

It is arbitrarily discriminatory against Muslims, and immigration is vital to the country's economy.

 @9F6T6N2disagreed…2yrs2Y

This is a blanket ban based on guilt-by-association against individuals with no evidence of their actual wrongdoing

 @9F6QYYGdisagreed…2yrs2Y

it is morally wrong to not allow people into the country if they are able to have a better life, also it would improve the quality of life for others.

 @9F6QYCCdisagreed…2yrs2Y

Terrorism is rare and an unlikely event. Immigrants should still be allowed to travel and work in the UK as it helps the economy, allows people to be a tourist here and increases our reputation abroad. Banning all immigrants only lowers our worldwide reputation.

 @9F6QRYNdisagreed…2yrs2Y

it shouldn’t be assumed all muslim immigrants are dangerous when in fact they benefit our society more than native english people.

 @9F6PFB2disagreed…2yrs2Y

Specifically banning Muslim immigrants is racist and would likely cause further terrorist attacks on our country. We need to improve funding in the security services allowing us to loosen immigration regulations and bring in more skilled workers.

 @9F6NZBLGreendisagreed…2yrs2Y

The vast majority of Muslim immigrants are not terrorists so this policy is discriminatory and racist

 @9F68N29Women's Equalitydisagreed…2yrs2Y

Through doing this, The government would be promoting and enabling further racism and essentially pushing the social aceptance further in the past.

 @9F9K38Pdisagreed…2yrs2Y

this is discrimination and a violation of human rights. Furthermore, immigrants are a huge part of our countries work force and contribute to our economy greatly.

 @9FCPBSSdisagreed…2yrs2Y

Should we ban all Christian’s entering the country until the government improves its screening process?

 @9FCNFNHdisagreed…2yrs2Y

It is incredibly racist to assume that all Muslim immigrants are terrorists. In reality, they are likely seeking asylum from a “high-risk” country and the moral and right thing to do is to welcome them. The world has become so inhumane that I am disgusted to be a part of society.

 @9FCKYY7disagreed…2yrs2Y

The idea that any given Muslim is more likely to be a terrorist than any given Christian, Jew, or Hindu is ridiculous, and non-Muslims are more likely to be terrorists than Muslims in recent years

 @9FCJX8YConservativefrom Illinois  disagreed…2yrs2Y

If we ban immigration completely then skills in certain job sector will dramatically decrease such as construction. Furthermore, this is not right and we can’t assume all Muslims are terrorists and ban them all.

 @9FC8K5Sdisagreed…2yrs2Y

I think if your going to do screening process on some immigrants then you should do it on all as it’s treating people differently I also think they should be let in the country first and be placed in a special unit to do the screening and then they should be let out

 @9FC6NWLdisagreed…2yrs2Y

This would be fuelling the anti-Muslim sentiment which exists among many Western countries and this would therefore result in higher occurrences of hate crimes and related events. The screening process on suspected terrorists can always be improved, however this must be done based on specific groups or those with potential affiliations with those groups, as potential terrorism can occur across every single one of the main world religions.

 @9FC55QZdisagreed…2yrs2Y

One cannot simply ban a massive group of people, many of which are vulnerable refugees, because a miniscule percentage of that group can pose a threat to national security.

 @9FBZ63TLabourdisagreed…2yrs2Y

Your position is prejudice based on limited examples of terrorism and does not reflect the majority of Muslim immigrants.

 @9FBX8HVdisagreed…2yrs2Y

immigrants improve the economy, benefit local communities and all people deserve the right to choose where they live and not have that dictated by passports

 @9FBBQJMGreendisagreed…2yrs2Y

Look at your own country first. Terrorist are more often citizens of the very kind they commit acts o

 @9FBBCJBLabourdisagreed…2yrs2Y

People who commit terrorist acts may be claiming that they are muslim but their views do not line up with Islamic values, therefore Muslim Immigrants should not be discriminated against.

 @9F9PCSFdisagreed…2yrs2Y

Not all Muslim immigrants are extreme, and stopping them coming in would put them at an unfair disadvantage.

 @9F9NWFSdisagreed…2yrs2Y

I don’t think it should happen because people should have a right to live here if they choose to do so.

 @9F9F9Y8disagreed…2yrs2Y

Why specifically muslim immigrants, there has been no violent terrorist attack from muslim immigrants for the past 5 years, actually, the last major terrorist attack was firebombing a migration centre.

 @9FD8SF3disagreed…2yrs2Y

That is putting a statement out saying that all Muslims are the same and should be judged the same which is entirely wrong. As much as there are Muslim terrorists there are terrorists of Christianity. If the banning happens then it shows the government has a hidden agenda and is fuelling people who are emotionally vulnerable to hate.

 @9FD5VLZLabourdisagreed…2yrs2Y

not all Muslims are terrorists and it's racist to say that they are based off their ethnicity and religion

 @9FD2VXCdisagreed…2yrs2Y

It’s disrespectful and discrimination, making Muslims feel unwelcome and feared, which is degrading, rather that seeing everyone as equals

 @9FCZWFJdisagreed…2yrs2Y

That's as stupid as saying ban all Christians until reparations are paid for the crusades. A minority group does not make a majority group terrorists otherwise the same logic would be applied to Irish people in Britain in the 70s 80s and 90s.

 @9F9G4XNdisagreed…2yrs2Y

Don't ban all Muslims because they have a right to live here and they just want to get away from any wars

 @9FHRDG7disagreed…2yrs2Y

This is clearly racist. Most terror in the current world is done by far right extremists against Muslims and Jews.

 @9FGJXGPLabourdisagreed…2yrs2Y

Because that is a backwards xenophobic policy which would do nothing but discriminate people of a certain religion

 @9G5D5QVLiberal Democratdisagreed…1yr1Y

Not all muslims are terrorists and not all caucasians are good citizens. The KKK is still alive and well, where is your screening process for white Americans entering the UK?

 @9G53RVFdisagreed…1yr1Y

Not all Muslims are the same. Every immigrant should be treated equally and fairly and no one should be discriminated because of their religion or belief.

 @9F5WDPDdisagreed…2yrs2Y

The Brit govt has a horrific record when it comes to determining who or what is a 'terrorist, ranging from internment to full blown innocently convicted people serving time for crimes they simply did not do. The govt can't screen its own MPs, what makes you think they can screen people fleeing wars and conflicts that the Brits were, at best, complicit with.

 @9F5V692disagreed…2yrs2Y

Some muslim immigrants maybe skilled workers who have alot of good skills needed in our econnomy and work force. Having a screening process on muslim immigrants seems racist also, singling out one group for a handful of terrorist attacks is ridiculous. However it maybe understandable if they come from war torn nations like syria where the chances are alot higher.

 @9F5LYJLdisagreed…2yrs2Y

As an Irish person from NI, who grew up during the troubles, it isn't right to consider everyone in a certain group as a terrorist. The number of people committed these crimes is very small as a % of all Muslims

 @9F5DTLSdisagreed…2yrs2Y

Migrants pose a minuscule threat to Britain and are beneficial the to UK's economy. The majority of terror attacks in Britain are not by Muslims or other types of migrants.

 @9CFYYC5commented…2yrs2Y

There is no need to specifically target Muslims when monitoring immigration, but nonetheless the UK needs to improve their screening process for all religious and ethnic groups in order to improve productivity for the future.
