If someone disagrees with abortion, they must recognise that abortion isn't only an immoral act, it is an immoral act with a victim. Unlike other potentially immoral actions such as personal drug use, abortion is viewed as wrong because harm is caused to a separate person, not only to the person who chooses to do it. If the government can acknowledge this, it has an obligation to protect its citizens from being victimised.

While there are negative implications for abortions in terms of the current demography issues in many nations. Ultimately, this comes down to a moral position on abortion. Try watching a video of an abortion when a babies limbs are dissected and its body torn to pieces and then tell me that this is in some way positive.
