If you believe you should be legally allowed to drink alcohol you should be allowed to legally smoke weed. Anyone who disagrees doesn't have enough information on the topic.

The illegal drugs trade finances criminal networks that do appalling damage to the lives of citizens of every country. Making drugs safe and available removes the need for gangs that profit from them.

weed should be legalised but controlled, allowing certain areas to be used under supervision if need be but harsher drugs should remain illegal

The war on drugs has failed. Drugs have won. Millions are spent each year on a loosing battle. Police shut down massive drug operations for them to be reastablished hours later. We need to review our view on drugs taken into account all the latest studies and non biased information, and take into account other countries approach. Such as Uruguay, Canada, Holland and some states in America.
The government can tax these drugs, reduce expenditure on policing the drugs and use that money on other important issues facing our country, such as funding NHS or the education and rehabilitation of dangerous drugs and substances.

Cannabis is becoming legalised in many countries, and is almost universally used with few cases of anyone endangering themselves or others. In my opinion, if you choose to use a substance, on your head be it. I find it hypocritical to allow the sale and consumption of alcohol and nicotine but throw you in prison for cannabis and painkillers

Drugs are a temporary fix. They do not cure or lessen depression, only temporarily subside those feelings
