human rights is a basic thing that everyone should have access to regardless of background, and the suffering caused by the privileged in history is something that should never be repeated.

Without the Human's Right Act, essential rights such as the right to food, water and shelter would no longer be considered a right and then people of higher standing would take advantage of this.

This is a fundamental protection of the most basic rights, it is essential that it lies outside the purview of national governments. Also, we drafted the convention in the first place.

Abolishing the HRA removes the ability of UK laws to protect individuals from rights violations, especially by public bodies.

The Human rights act has benefitted the lives of millions of people and as a country agrees with everything we strive to do. If were to abolish these rights we would be in no position to judge foreign states who do the same.

The human Rights Act is outdated and does not mirror what the current situation in the UK requires. Which is why a UK led bill could be more effective.

It is likely that there is no point in arguing a stance that you are ingrained on. However if you are willing to see sense look at topics like nazi Germany, Russia under stain, Communist China. States with no human rights acts that have violently oppressed their people. Wise up and do your research.
