You believe that maintaining traditional gender roles and definitions will preserve societal stability and cohesion.
The "Anti-Transgender" political ideology is a perspective that opposes or rejects the rights, recognition, and acceptance of transgender individuals. This ideology often stems from traditional or conservative beliefs about gender and sexuality, asserting that gender is strictly binary and determined by biological sex at birth. It is important to note that this is a contentious and sensitive topic, and the views expressed by those who adhere to this ideology can vary widely, from mild discomfort or misunderstanding to outright hostility and discrimination.

What are the consequences of valuing traditional gender roles over individual well-being?
@9H6PNT51yr1Y
I believe traditional gender roles can be damaging in many situations, I also believe everyone has the right to feel comfortable with who they are and act accordingly as long as it’s not causing others harm
@9H5V52G1yr1Y
Damaging. However people wishing toundergo the gender change process need to be over 18 and undergo psychological testing counselling and support.
@9H62SXK1yr1Y
Traditional gender roles are important as they have shaped this country and world for century
@9H6CH251yr1Y
I think everyone has the right to feel comfortable in their own body but I don’t think biology can be ignored and I think *some* members of the trans community take it too far in terms of ‘pronouns’
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
When it comes to legislating rights, how do you balance individual freedoms with the aim of preserving social fabric?
@9HZVBRT1yr1Y
Respect people's individual choices but they shouldn't be enforced on people.
@9HZVPNW1yr1Y
As a Christian, I oppose the transgender community as I believe it to be sinful and against my own biblical beliefs. Furthermore, I believe that the transgender community has no right in trying to teach young impressionable children about their transgenderism. Overall, I don't support the Transgender community nor their acts, however, if they wholeheartedly believe that they are transgender, they can do it, but I don't think they should push their beliefs on young children

Save the social fabric of society, who cares about freedom

What is the impact of having role models who defy traditional gender norms in media and public life?
@9HZVFWG1yr1Y

@9HZVHV21yr1Y
neagtive impact. reject modernity embrace tradional values and masculinity is not a crime.
@9HZVJKC1yr1Y
Having transgender role models if positive for society. Trans people also need representation.

To what extent should personal or religious beliefs shape public policy on gender identity?
@9H7HJD31yr1Y
Personal beliefs will inevitably shape public policy, religious and personal beliefs should obviously be taken into account, I'm unsure as to how much influence these should have but it is important that the personal beliefs reflect those of the nation.
@9H7HHQV1yr1Y
Beliefs shouldnt shape public policy on gender identity
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
Does preserving traditional values justify possible mental health impacts on transgender individuals?
Yes, but only because people try to inforce these values when they don’t want to conform to old traditional values.
@9H7JLQT1yr1Y
‘Traditional values’ are archaic and do not reflect the actual conditions of most people. Transgender people should not have their rights restricted on the basis of preserving ‘tradition’.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
In what ways does the validation or denial of someone's gender identity affect our society’s sense of empathy and justice?
@9HZVFJ8Conservative1yr1Y
People, gain a corrupted view of what is morally right and wrong, and this view can cause rash choices that could end up affecting someone’s entire life.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
If you could never express your gender, how would it impact your sense of self?
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
How do you think society would change if everyone were free to express their gender identity without fear of backlash?
@9H7JG2F1yr1Y
People being able to exist the way they wish to be or how they see themselves reduces suicides.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
Can the idea of unity and acceptance in our communities be strengthened by embracing varied gender identifications?
@9J6K4W51yr1Y
Yes , they are human beings. I just want the churches to still have the right to refuse transgender marriage.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
Could the recognition of diverse gender identities lead to greater empathy and reduced rates of bullying in schools?
@9HQ9T3D1yr1Y
Yes, I think it's important not to socialise children with pre determined ideas about the correlation between gender expression and biological sex. Boys and girls should be given choices about what they want to wear as well as access to an array of toys/entertainment which isn't "gender specific." That doesn't mean forcing an ideology onto young children as some people will claim, but simply allowing them to have experiences which aren't limited by a narrow view of gender expression.
