Encourage is the wrong word, noone should be encouraged but they should be free to act if they feel it is right to do so
@9QM23NY10mos10MO
They should be encouraged to research and educate THEMSELVES on issues - and not necessarily those pushed onto them by teachers or guardians.

@9QJZ97C 10mos10MO
Yes, if it's something they are passionate about and have an interest in. Why not?
@9QJL8CW10mos10MO
No, joining a cause just because someone you know has, is damaging to the original cause
@9QGLP2D 10mos10MO
Absolutely. We need to teach children to hold the government to account.
@9QJ3ZCT10mos10MO
Yes from ages of 16 if that’s what they believe in
@9QHLGCB10mos10MO
It will help children develop a greater sense of self and greater understanding of things that they value and don't value, and hopefully make them become more empathetic people.
@9QHHTGW10mos10MO

@9QHGYRWConservative10mos10MO
Yes because it gives them a view and educates them so they can influence the world for the better.
@9QH5TS2Liberal Democrat10mos10MO
They should be allowed to participate, however not encouraged. Students are some of the loudest voices when it comes to activism, however it's my belief that they are also the most vulnerable and susceptible to persuasion and 'herd mentality' which can lead to disruption in terms of activism. It is good practise for them to exercise their views, however there is every chance that these will change as they continue their education and self-development.
@9QGT8NN10mos10MO

@9Q8L9T410mos10MO
Yes, I think it's something that should be talked about more in schools as many young people are not educated around politics and should understand the importance of exercising their right to vote
@9Q7TKK210mos10MO
Yes, because it teaches them that they need to stand up for what is right and that their voice matters.
@9Q7C89810mos10MO
it is important to teach kids things from an early age before they have developed so that they can make their decisions and opinions on topic better without biased info.
@9Q6ZHF7 10mos10MO
Students should be able to peacefully protest as this is sometimes the only way to be heard.
They should be educated on subjects and be able to form and share opinions but I don’t think anybody should be swayed either way so long as they know they have choices
@9Q6926N10mos10MO
No, they are vulnerable and many don't know who they are and can be brainwashed.
@9PZBRXK10mos10MO
No I think they should wait till the old enough to understand what they are doing. if not your just brain washing people who have no idea what they doing and just following the person infront of them.
@9PXCXWN10mos10MO
Not necessarily no. I think ideologies need to be explored and discusses but education is there to educate, not indoctrinate. If they want to then that’s up to them.
@9PRCP8610mos10MO
While there is still the need for activism, young people will be out there. There’s no “should” - they are.
@9PNZKJM10mos10MO
Yes. Builds character and advances causes, should be encouraged to do it right for right ends
@9PNZKJM10mos10MO
Yes, it builds character and can foster change, they should however be taught and encouraged to do it in a productive manner and for a good cause, but even if they do it in a poor manner for a poor cause it’s still their right to do so
