Yes and no, it should be easier for those seeking asylum and fleeing, but there should be background checks regarding criminal history (particularly violent). They should be given jobs however and training that is mandatory, so they can assimilate into the UK and contribute as well as help get their lives together. Life skills etc should also be taught
