If not already done so, the government power to monitor aspects of your privacy online should be authorised very stringently by courts. Abuse of which should be met with imprisonment. Law enforcement or other security services should have specific concerns and legitimate investigative protocols to spy on an individuals privacy. It should not be a carte blanche right for them to invade your online privacy. They should have a warrant to authorise access to my home why should it be any different when I am online?
