Finally, the government is taking some real action to secure our borders and protect the nation from illegal immigration and smuggling. It's about time they redirected funds from unworkable projects like the Rwanda asylum plan to something that can actually make a difference, like advanced surveillance and enforcement measures. This is a step in the right direction towards preserving the integrity of our borders and ensuring the safety and security of our citizens.

The UK government's decision to throw £75 million at border security seems like a classic case of bureaucratic overreach. Instead of focusing on such heavy-handed measures, they should consider more efficient use of taxpayer money, perhaps by streamlining existing processes or better managing resources. It's concerning to see such a significant amount of public funds, especially redirected from other projects, being used to ramp up surveillance and law enforcement measures. A more libertarian approach would advocate for open and fair migration policies that respect individual freedoms, rather than doubling down on expensive, high-tech solutions to manage border control.
