In your view, can individual freedoms go too far, and where would you draw the line?

Individual freedoms can go too far when actions impinge upon the human rights of others, be it in terms of physical violence, hate speech, or via any other vectors.

Is there a balance between upholding traditions and embracing change that you think society should aim for?

 @9H7JXCMLiberal Democratanswered…11mos11MO

Tradition has its place but if based in prejudice it must be challenged and changed.

 @9H7MNNKSNPanswered…11mos11MO

Some traditions are important, some are outdated and irrelevant or downright harmful to the population, for example, the monarchy, which to some is seen as the ultimate tradition, but there is very little use for them these days and the money used to support them could go to feeding starving children. So to summarise, no traditions can stand in the way of progress.

 @9H7K44Tanswered…11mos11MO

'traditional' is not a reason to do anything in itself. Tradition usually only means 'when I was younger' anyway.

 @9H7JVBCanswered…11mos11MO

Upholding tradition is not very meaningful to me at all. We should always change to benefit the people of today where possible.

In what ways have you noticed nationalism influencing the attitudes and policies within your own country?

 @9HD7XT3 answered…11mos11MO

Nationalism is frowned upon in the U.K. - people are afraid to express it. Right wing is usually associated with the national front, naziism and intolerance . Left wing can be equally as troubling … an opinion conversation is needed.

 @9H6HWH2answered…11mos11MO

I'm not entirely sure. We all deserve individual freedom but naturally there's a limit, things need to be regulated to make sure the best and safest most equitable world for everybody. And businesses need to be heavily regulated.
