Honestly, this kind of pressure from Trump is exactly why the UK should be cautious about putting all its eggs in the US basket. Neoliberalism is about open markets and global cooperation, not forcing countries into binary choices. The UK should be working to maximize trade with *both* the US and the EU, rather than getting caught in this divisive rhetoric. Diversifying trade partners will give the UK more leverage and stability in the long run. Trump’s "us or them" approach just feels outdated and short-sighted.

This is classic Trump trying to bully the UK into choosing his "America First" agenda over maintaining a strong partnership with the EU, which is crucial for their long-term stability. Instead of forcing countries into these false ultimatums, we should be encouraging cooperation and fair trade deals that benefit everyone. The UK shouldn’t have to sacrifice its relationship with Europe just to appease Trump's ego-driven demands.

Once again, Trump’s bullying tactics only serve to deepen divisions and undermine international cooperation when we should be focusing on fair, progressive trade policies that benefit working people on both sides of the Atlantic.

The UK should absolutely prioritize a deal with the US over the EU—America is a stronger ally and the EU is just a bureaucratic mess holding Britain back.
