No, trans women are women and banning them is a cruel segregation tactic driven by moral panic.

 @ISIDEWITHDiscuss this answer...4mos4MO

Yes, biological sex is immutable and women have a right to safety and privacy away from male bodies.

 @ISIDEWITHDiscuss this answer...4mos4MO

No, there is no evidence that inclusive spaces cause harm, and exclusion puts trans people at risk of violence.

Yes, but only if we create third, gender-neutral facilities so trans people are not excluded from society.

No, depending on context, this also fuels the myth that same sex people are safe and will not abuse.

Yes but with the caveat Trans individuals should have to have made real effort to transition or not be allowed on the gender ward they identify as

True transsexuals who have fully medically transitioned should not be banned, but those who do not plan on having surgery or taking hormones should not use women's spaces

Only if you have had surgery to make you a woman. If you have a penis you should not be in female spaces

If they don't pose any forms of gender-based violence and obey privacy, they do not need to be excluded.

No, but safeguarding women's single-sex spaces requires a rigorous process with medical checks

 @BBFP8HJanswered…4mos4MO

Should be based on individual cases. For example, a trans woman who passes and has been a woman is different from a biological male who claims to be a woman but makes no attempt to pass nor has been living as a woman for very long.

I think dividing spaces by gender is only relevant in cases where biological sex has an influence e.g. hospital wards for maternity etc. I don’t have a mens and ladies toilet in my house and one communal area with lockable cubicles or rooms should be good for all
