When was the last time there was a nuclear accident?

The have been two major ones; Chornobyl and Fukushima. The reasons to these were that one of them was an unreliable system and the other was caused by a natural disaster.

This is incorrect - there was a nuclear disaster in the uk around the 1970s but I do support nuclear

Been a while, but the Windscale was significant. That fire is often overshadowed by Chornobyl and Fukushima, but it was actually the worst nuclear accident in Britain’s history. Still, if you look at the stats, nuclear energy has a lower death toll than coal or oil, especially when you factor in air pollution.
