Freedom of choice should be paramount

It is better to incentivise and educate than to mandate. This should be the guiding principle for ALL decisions made about law making. It stifles debate when things are made mandatory, when there is a need to educate, there is also an opportunity to discuss and find flaws in current thinking. To Mandate something, one must be 100% sure that one is correct, and that is rarely the case.
