Voting is a benefit of society and being a law abiding citizen, a part of the social contract, and if they violate it through breaking those laws they forfeit the right to vote.

The vote should be earned, it should not be an automatic right. If you're not an asset to society then you should not have a say

Criminals should not be allowed to vote or have any say on what law abiding citizens can say in relation to UK legislation.

A criminal has enacted an unspeakable act against another citizen. Therefore as punishment they can’t decide what laws law-abiding citizens should follow as they clearly can’t follow them themselves

A citizen who has violated another citizen or their property does not deserve a say in the running of the country. If one avails themselves of the law and its protections, then they have no right to determine those protections for others.

I believe prisoners absolutely should not be allowed to vote and depending on the severity of the crime someone has committed they should either be banned for a number of years or altogether. We have an increasing number of lowlifes in this country and they’re allowed to sway the future of good people

Actions have consequences. If you negatively affect someone else life, you forfeit your own freedoms.
