Make a more realistic assessment policy for immigrants - don't turn away the skills we need or discourage PhD students and others with similar educational/skills levels

 @8RZTS3JLiberal Democratanswered…4yrs4Y

No, accept anyone (subject to some assessment) who is either a refugee or provides needed skills or provides other forms of required labour.

 @9G43HC4answered…1yr1Y

No but the current system does need to change to allow more regulation of who’s coming through and at what rate

 @9F5XYNPanswered…2yrs2Y

yes but only take people in refugee camps and send people who arrive to a refugee camps

 @9BZ28HXanswered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but aligned to the skill we need (which doesn’t mean they have to be skilled) and they should be willing to align to UK way of thinking/lifestyle

 @9623YGWanswered…2yrs2Y

No, but we should encourage migration to fill gaps in the employment market. Eg. Right now there is a huge deficit of staff in the service industry.

 @93VLYCYanswered…3yrs3Y

I believe that its best not be naive and evaluating what an immigrants morals, values and beliefs are on important subjects in the UK and if they don't align then they should be put on a programme to help them understand and see if they've made any progress by the end of it, if not they will have to try again and not be allowed to stay in the UK.

 @93TH9NKanswered…3yrs3Y

There should be easier immigration for those coming to help work temporary jobs or jobs/industries where there are staffing challenges

 @93RLDN5Labouranswered…3yrs3Y

It should be stricter to stop overpopulation, but it should also be allowed to help those in serious need and seeking refuge from war, etc.

 @938P68XLiberal Democratanswered…3yrs3Y

A balanced immigration system which allows the immigrants to integrate with their new nation but also encourage other nations (specifically european) to also take them so we can all handle the growing amount of immigrants.

 @92H2736answered…3yrs3Y

No, stay the same except make it easier for foreign professionals to maintain validity of their qualifications in the UK to practice their professions.

 @92FCXB9answered…3yrs3Y

Immigration from war zones and areas of mass repression should be more accessible

Adopt a points system like Australia has for immigration, which helps determine whether the person will take more from the county than they will give back

 @8YNG8N7Conservativeanswered…3yrs3Y

Whilst Immigration can be seen as a problem it is important that we give these people a home and that they can enjoy a sustainable life and instead of making the policy stricter put the time into making there lives easier by giving support to them in heling them get settled. Education Should be made common to teach on the issues and the the immigrants so that they can adapt easier into society.

 @8YH2PCWanswered…3yrs3Y

Add a limit and a points based system, similar to the Australian system.

 @8WKBVWDanswered…3yrs3Y

screen immigrants for criminal backgrounds but make the process easier for refugees

 @8RFZGQTanswered…4yrs4Y

Open our borders to Immigration completely, Immigrants do not hurt our country, they help it.

 @8RCMQZTanswered…4yrs4Y

No, but there should be a programme to help immigrants settle and become productive in the UK.

 @9CJFZGFLabouranswered…2yrs2Y

Yes when the country is in a economic crisis and cant support any more people

 @9BVZB9Panswered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but ensure the safety of those who attempt to cross the channel and ensure there is a fair system of where they go next

 @9BVZ9QVanswered…2yrs2Y

make it easier for skilled workers however for anyone who enters the country with no qualifications or work lined up, regularly review them to ensure they are becoming productive citizens. however, if it is too difficult for them to enter the country vulnerable immigrants or refugees could be at risk.

 @9BLRFXTanswered…2yrs2Y

No, however improve the efficiency and effectivity of the service. Make it more inviting to immigrants, enabling jobs and healthcare

 @99MZCKFanswered…2yrs2Y

No one leaves their own country unless they have to. Invest more money in the process.

 @96TRJG6answered…2yrs2Y

Not stricter but make the process easier and faster for skilled workers and refugees

 @92LMPPZanswered…3yrs3Y

 @98DW88Wanswered…2yrs2Y

Check criminal records and block anyone who's had a violent criminal record, or who have brought guns into the UK 'without knowing'

 @98478FBanswered…2yrs2Y

Immigrant should be asessed on their need to enter the country ( a good enough reason )
