Yes, but make it open for skilled workers and turn away people who say they are "17" but they look like their in their 20s and 30s as a bypass

 @9QQGWP3answered…9mos9MO

I think there should be a better system for immigration such as the one in Australia but I don’t believe in stopping immigrants moving over altogether

 @9Q72V5Yanswered…9mos9MO

Yes immigration should be based on requirement for skill shortages and ability to pay and contribute to society via taxes and NI

 @9NKDTYNanswered…10mos10MO

Yes there are too many immigrants and this is no longer England because of it , we get mistreated in our own country when they don’t even belong here we go without while they go with everything

 @9MR533Nanswered…10mos10MO

Process people quicker and give opportunities to those you should be allowed to live here to help the country

 @9K2M69Kanswered…1yr1Y

The policy strictness is irrelevant when our institutions that process immigrants are so underfunded.

 @B22VDR8Liberal Democratanswered…4mos4MO

The system doesn't work for legal migrants but heavily priorities refugees, but they receive short term support as well

 @9NSGVD4answered…10mos10MO

Yes, but accept refugees if necessary who are fleeing from war, and do not allow any in with a criminal record.

 @9N2QDCManswered…10mos10MO

Support those leaving from dangerous places but something should be in place to ensure they do co tribute to the country after x amount of time.

 @9LG823Banswered…12mos12MO

Immigration should be an easy process for genuine refugees and skilled workers without previous criminal convictions and illegal immigrants should not be accepted.

 @9KWPMMKanswered…1yr1Y

No, it should invest into programmes that are working towards integration and safety of these people

 @9JLWYZYanswered…1yr1Y

Tougher screening, trial periods. Skilled worker initiative, illegal entry/criminal activity punished with deportation and no chance of return.

 @9GB9G7Kanswered…1yr1Y

Yes we have too many immigrants, they should be strictly screened for criminal backgrounds and they should regularly be checked on to ensure they become productive citizens

 @9G9PQ27answered…1yr1Y

It’s a minefield. They need to have a multiagency approach to account for impact on society and welfare of immigrants

 @9G5MCLJanswered…1yr1Y

Strictly screen the immigrants for criminal backgrounds, review the recent immigrants to ensure they have become productive citizens, and make the process easier for skilled workers.

 @9Q4BT4Ranswered…9mos9MO

Greater screening for criminal backgrounds but more welcoming to refugees and allow refugees to work sooner. Better administration and processing. More empathy. Greater co-operation with the EU and especially Ireland. Improve Anglo-Irish and UK-EU relations. Prioritise help for Palestinians.

 @965QFLHConservativeanswered…2yrs2Y

Yes but only allow Non UK spouses and Non UK children of British Citizens the automatic right of British Citizenship free of charge without citizenship tests needed.

 @95GCPRVanswered…3yrs3Y

Do more to help refugees but make sure immigrants are productive citizens

 @8ZF2F34answered…3yrs3Y

They should be welcoming to immigrants that offer a useful trade and educational experience. But be more vigilante with candidates possessing a criminal past or affiliation.

 @8Y3DJKXanswered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but we should only allow Non UK spouses and Non UK children of British nationals the right of British citizenship with free of charge

 @8XXW4Z9Labouranswered…3yrs3Y

No, but only allow Non UK Spouses and children of UK nationals to have the right to abide of British Citizenship without any income requirements as it’s discriminatory under the European Private life.

 @8WDFYG7answered…3yrs3Y

We should follow Australia and make them have a certain amount of money and do a few years of retail work, or have a certain level of education.

 @8T33WWLanswered…4yrs4Y

 @8SNHPZ5answered…4yrs4Y

No, but make it the policy fair and encourage more immigration to occur as wee need skilled workers.

 @8S93MYNLabouranswered…4yrs4Y

Yes but make the process easier for skilled workers whilst also making it easier for refugees as they may have circumstances of suffering such as war, loss of country etc.

 @9CDCZN9Liberal Democratanswered…2yrs2Y

Make it easier for refugees, but restrict normal migration to those working in necessary sectors

 @9B4FRLQanswered…2yrs2Y

To many at the moment, strictly screening for criminal back grown, if they do commit a crime clause they are sent back and their family
