Do you believe that feminism has succeeded in its goals, or has it overreached to the detriment of social harmony?

 @9H6K4F2answered…6mos6MO

I believe the goal should always be equality not the furthering of one gender over the other

 @9H7K44Tanswered…6mos6MO

It has been successful in advancing the interests of women, although with the degree of prejudice that still exists, more progress is needed.

 @9H7JQHSLabouranswered…6mos6MO

No, they set out to be equal yet we still don’t have equal pay between the two genders

What is your stance on the claim that anti-feminism protects men's rights from being overshadowed by feminism?

 @9H5WJDXanswered…6mos6MO

I think that men and women should be equal in everything and there should be no 'anti feminism' or 'anti men'

 @9H7YFPWanswered…6mos6MO

I think it's silly. The rights of men SHOULDN'T be overshadowed by feminism, but issues arise when people use feminism as an excuse to limit the freedoms of people who identify as men - for instance, ignoring the blatant issue of men's mental health with the excuse of "but patriarchy means they don't suffer!", (which also demonstrates a distinct lack of understanding of what the patriarchy actually is).

 @9H829KKLabouranswered…6mos6MO

Equal rights means it needs to be equal and not have positive discrimination.

 @9H9YPZ2answered…6mos6MO

MRAs often tend to make unsubstantiated claims about how feminism goes to an extent of facilitating issues for attention, in particular to the topic of sexual assaults. Either that or they end up unintentionally promoting stances that could encourage misogyny or violence against women.

Why do you think certain professions remain gender-dominated, and how does that impact societal perceptions?

 @9KFJGKVLiberal Democratanswered…3mos3MO

often times women feel threatened away from entering a certain profession because they fear discrimination from a male dominated field

 @9KLHYPCagreed…2mos2MO

As I have been born AFAB I have found there is certain fears of entering certain spaces, occupations or even educational fields. There is a fear that men (who hold a lot of power in all areas of the world) will discriminate against women.

 @9KFJFCRanswered…3mos3MO

Our society still perpetuates many gender stereotypes and these affect us all throughout our lives. Therefore, attempts to equalise certain professions fall flat as we need to deal with gender roles in our society as a whole before meaningful change can take place

 @9KFJDJVanswered…3mos3MO

Yes there is male domination and this prevents females gaining their deserving role

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3mos3MO

In what ways do you believe educational institutions should address the conversation around gender roles?

 @9KFJFSZanswered…3mos3MO

They should treat all genders the same and promote this and educate people to their wrong views

 @9KFJF6Nanswered…3mos3MO

I believe gender and sex politics hold no place around people who are younger than 16 or so. Including political aspects to younger children could be detrimental and confusing to kinds, as well as this most children probably do not care and thus it will go over their heads.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3mos3MO

What personal experiences have led you to embrace or question the necessity of traditional gender roles?

 @9KFJ2GLanswered…3mos3MO

Traditional gender roles are an outdated, functionalist ideology that are no longer relevant in today's modern society. A homosexual couple is just as capable of raising a child as a straight couple.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO

How has the rise of social media and online communities affected your views on gender roles and equality?

 @9HY55H6answered…4mos4MO

I think people should be aloud to do whatever they want when it come to "masculine" or "feminine" jobs or tasks but I think it's silly to deny that men and women are different and on average are more skilled at different disciplines.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…6mos6MO
