No, but that doesn’t mean we should seek out war anyway.

 @9J5NXJFGreendisagreed…1yr1Y

No I think humans are ruled by greed and tribalism innately and this will never change. This means that there will always be wars over commodities, land and resources

Waging war appears to be a part of our primal human instinct and is unlikely to ever be something made obsolete.

Some people will go to extreme lengths to protect or enhance what they believe is right or rightfully theirs and others to the same to oppose them. Almost everyone knows this is unacceptable, Hopefully war will gradually become rarer and more brief as time goes on.

No, evolutionary pressures will always predominate and even in post scarcity societies, population booms will eventually exhaust resources, leading to conflict. Stability is unlikely to ever be the norm of an epoch, much less the norm of all future epochs.

Humans will never reach a state where war is obsolete. Our negative emotions towards each other, although terrible, are necessary in order for a society to flourish. We could not possibly live in a perfectly harmonised society (in infinite time) as we are not perfectly harmonised with each other.

War doesn’t improve people’s lives, it traumatises them and it takes innocent people away from their family.

No, war will always be here look back to the time of the Romans and the ancient egyptians war happened then and it still happens WW1 WW2 it is impossible to remove war

No
War and fighting is part of Humans natural behaviour our ancestors fought over resources for survival and therefore over thousands of years fighting for survival and resources has probably become a part of our nature. So I believe war is part of our nature we need to protect ourselves as there will always be people who want to attack the innocent. Better to have an army and wage war when necessary than be defenceless and probably killed. Until power hungry leaders are no longer there will be war and as greed is part of human nature there will always be these kinds of people so there will always be war.

 @9JTNRQKConservativeanswered…1yr1Y

Perhaps but it is very unlikely and contingent on adequate provisions for all and reduced differences between groups

 @9JTNRQKConservativeanswered…1yr1Y

Potentially in the distant future but unlikely as it’s contingent on there being few differences between groups of people and adequate provision for all.

 @9JVYFVKConservativeanswered…1yr1Y

No, humans are competitive creatures. As long as people keep having different opinions there will be war

 @9J3L3H2Conservative answered…1yr1Y

No, I think it is inherently in human nature for us to try to overcome other groups

 @9J2KGMXConservativeanswered…1yr1Y

Unfortunately no, but we should continue to work towards a time where there is no war, no violence.
