Have you witnessed any small businesses struggling in your area, and what type of government intervention do you think could support them?

Yes they struggle in my area. Lower business rates to give businesses a better chance of survival

High business rates strangle small businesses. Lowering their rates enables them to have a fighting chance. Lower takes but more people paying for longer works better than high taxes and squeezing the life out of people until they go under and the next business comes along only to be squeezed again.

Create a business support programme that includes an accountant, financial advisor and opportunity for funding/loans.

Economic intervention needs to be effectively managed. Unsure how this would be done.
