I would say that it is only the decision of one person, that person being the one who wishes to transition gender, they should be informed of any dangers of the treatment and should be given time to fully decide whether they want to do it, but if you are really in a place where you feel uncomfortable with yourself and want to do the transition you should be able to,

I strongly agree with the statement. It is 100% their decision. They have most likely thought very long about this decision.

Gender transition is a dangerous and untested process, with severe side effects. Feeling uncomfortable in your own body is part of puberty.
