There are large fears of discrimination, being adopted is difficult, throwing another thing into the mix such as gay parents is even more subject for discrimination and this can cause vast issues for the adopted child. It takes away from strong values which we are built upon, gay people should be able to get married, not in a religious building and that is all okay but not adoption.
