I do not support a complete ban on political advertising on social media, as for many people this is now the main way they receive political information. Removing it entirely could limit awareness and engagement.

However, I do believe that content which is misleading, radicalising, or deliberately inflammatory should be restricted or removed. Any such action must be based on clear, consistent rules that apply equally to all parties and viewpoints. Transparency around who is paying for political advertising and why users are being targeted is also essential.

No, but there should be a notice telling the viewer that the post is political advertising. And social media should show advertising equally from all parties.

No but tighter regulations should be implemented to ensure truth and fairness are adhered to and misinformation is removed, acknowledged as such and any further advertising by offending party/individual be prohibited

Yes, social media algorithms keep consumers trapped in political feedback loops

if it's for a far left/far right party or targeting a political party over banter or fake stuff yes, but mostly no

 @BDG43F9answered…2mos2MO

No, but have clear disclaimers (like OFCOM's required "the following is a party political broadcast," on television) and clarify if a politician is associated with a social media page (like Nigel Farage's association with GBNews) to prevent misleading, biased coverage.
